Join us for a cozy yet adventurous Canadian retreat located in the heart of Banff National Park.

Our private retreat home is situated in this small resort town overlooked by the towering peaks of Mt. Rundle and Mt. Cascade, part of the Rocky Mountains. In town, Banff Avenue is decorated with small boutiques, restaurants, château-style hotels and souvenir shops.

This experience will graciously refill your cup as you find yourself summiting mountain peaks overlooking world famous sights like Lake Louise, practicing yoga outside on the private balcony, enjoying home cooked nourishing meals, perusing the town, and connecting with yourself and other like minded people.

Be prepared to do your fair share of hiking, because you know, BANFF. Let’s go see the world, shall we?

The Retreat Château

This four story, 10-bedroom, newly renovated home is located just steps away from the charming town of Banff. With multiple seating areas, a large open kitchen, and spacious back deck overlooking the mountains, this home is sure to draw in community, comfort, and a lot of memories

  • Chef Amanda is back by popular demand and is so excited to bring you hearty and nourishing meals made with love.

    • Welcome snack and Dinner included on arrival day.

    • All meals included 11th-14th (packed lunches and snacks on hiking trips)

    • Departure breakfast included on check out day.

    Amanda Moon Callahan is a farmer, home cook, and social justice advocate. Amanda is

    passionate about whole food, from-scratch cooking focusing on seasonal and local ingredients.

    She teaches, cooks, and nourishes from the heart – focusing on foods that bring joy and create

    happiness for mind, body, and soul. She is a novice herbalist and incorporates plants and herbs

    into all aspects of cooking. Co-owner of Callywood Farms, her family raises animal welfare

    approved chicken, turkey, and pork. They manage a large family garden and cultivate culinary

    mushrooms. Amanda co-founded the Embodied Kitchen Studio, a yoga and cooking school that

    aims to give people the skills to take their yoga and cooking practice home to develop deep and

    meaningful relationships with your body and food. She writes and develops recipes for the

    Clemson Area Food Exchange. She resides in Westminster, SC.

  • Round trip group van transportation is offered and included from Calgary Airport to the the retreat château. We will have two designated pick up times from Calgary Airport on arrival date for carpool. If you prefer to rent and provide your own transportation, that is not included. The drive to retreat home is 2 hours from the airport, so two pick up times is what is offered.

    On departure day, group shuttles will leave the retreat house after 12pm check out day. If your departing flight is scheduled outside of this offering, you will need to make arrangements for your own transportation.

    Transportation to and from National Park(s) for adventure are included.

  • Group Park passes required for entry are included for the week.

    Hiking Schedule tentative and subject to change based on weather and other factors. We will aim to hike the following trails and sights:

    1. Big Beehive Trail, Banff - hard (6.7miles)

    2. Lake Agnes, Lake Louise, Banff - moderate (4.6miles)

    3. Sentinal Pass, Banff -hard (6.9miles)

    I have a wish list on top of these hikes and with time permitting, we will conquer all!

  • Our yoga schedule will depend on hiking as well as travel time to and from the parks! We always do our best to make a well rounded offering of both yoga and adventure!

  • Many attendees on retreats end up connecting on much deeper and spiritual levels. Come open to the possibility of new friends, perhaps for a lifetime!

This room has a queen bed and a bunk bed. Can be a shared queen and someone occupying the bottom bunk. Or everyone in a separate bed. Same price per person regardless of bed you occupy. Shared bathroom - $2,200 per person.
